There is more to how we come across in writing than can be veiled by a bunch of emojis.
No matter how many little guys are rolling about, tone and voice can come through loud and clear.
Hyperbole is like an aside or sometimes a wink. It should stand alone. Sometimes hyperbole is taken literally — which can frustrate the writer. And sometimes hyperbole can be effectively thrown right back atcha in discussion.
Anyway, if voice and tone come through in writing, why not own it instead of calling in the emojis?
