Default Don't forget Humidity

I just closed on new home last week in TV. While it is still empty till this week, I'm monitoring temp and humidity. I was surprised that humidity was over 60% at 78 degrees. I got it to 58% by holding temp at 76. I'm anxious to see what happens after my furniture is here what effect it has.
If I am making a recommendation it is this, don't just monitor temperature, humidity is extremely important. Some studies say under 60% others say 50%. If you don't monitor humidity, then you may open your home up to potentially getting mold. Nobody wants that.
Reason for this post is to just educate people that temperature isn't the only thing to monitor in your home. This is especially important to seasonal residents.
Hope this helps a few of you and if you look at your AC units there is usually a phone number to call if you have questions they should be able to help you with recommendations on settings.
Good luck.
