Scientific and medical development is obviously good. But, is there some ideal / optimal population density for any area (like Florida)? Has the quality of life increased for Floridians with ALL population increases or did it top out at 12 Million or some other number?
......For comparison, the world population in 1950 was 2.5 Billion people. It started rapidly increasing after that until today it is 8.1 Billion people.
I do not like the increase in population in the Villages, at all! Not enough businesses and professionals to meet the demand and the cost keeps going up and up.

I wrote a different post nearly the same time you added your post. (Great minds think alike, I guess.) In it, I questioned a poster who is finding comfort in knowing that one day, his new home will be located in the middle of the Villages. Who wants to see a population of nearly one- half million? Not me!
