There is a factor that could change those future predictions. The Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean around Florida are at record temperatures. Also, most parts of the planet. Scientists predict increased HEAT around the earth for at least 8 years due to fossil fuel use and population increase.
........What will likely happen is that smart people will look at the fact that they can't live in Florida year around due to the summer heat, humidity, and hurricanes. Then, they will look to buy homes in Georgia, South and North Carolina. And they will find those places are probably less costly than Florida is right now.
