You don't have issues because you actually know how to fix things when they do go wrong. I could be wrong but I'll bet you could even wire 220v if you wanted and electric car (you wouldn't have to ask somone to do it for you). Sometimes the proven KISS philosphy works, and look at you, doing your part for the environment by keeping that 1970 truck out of the landfill
