Personally, I think that any alligator in The Villages lakes over 3 ft long should be caught (by professionals) and sent to local restaurants. I NEVER liked the idea of Villagers feeding gators..........the reason being many Villagers have small dogs that they CHERISH and they also have grandchildren that visit who could easily lose an arm to a 4ft gator.
........I think that in Florida a person has a GREATER chance of being attacked by a freshwater alligator than by a shark in salt water at a beach.
