I had a muscle car in the late 1960s while in my twenties. My family had State Farm as had I since I had started to drive. I had moved to the DC area, started working for the government, and discovered GEICO had really great rates for young drivers with clean driving records, especially with muscle cars, so I switched. As some point GEICO got into trouble and in the late 1970s Buffet got involved. As I was concerned about GEICO's viability I switched back to State Farm after my agent cleared me as not being canceled by GEICO which was happening right and left. How Buffet got involved with GEICO was quite a story so I started to follow BRK and as soon as I had some investable cash I bought a little BRK. Believe me, that was a lot of money for me at the time!
