Fowler, Spieth & JT are the leaders of the "In Clique" on the PGA Tour ... just like high school. You pick one, you get them all. Unfortunately, none of them have been very productive this year and I suspect their presence might be disruptive to the team. Sheffler is on the periphery of the group, so he'll be ok with them around.

Selecting Ricky, JT & Spieth, instead of Finau, Glover or Bradley, is simply protecting the status quo of friendships on the Tour in my opinion.

Personally, I think Zach just gave up control of his team, the inmates will be running the asylum and Zach will get all the blame if they get routed.
