You can buy rectangular pieces of sod at Lowels for a good price. They also sell plugs but they are rather expensive, it’s better to just rip apart the rectangular pieces of sod into little pieces and you have economical plugs. If you plant the plugs spaced apart by a couple inches they will spread and fill in rather quickly. It’s an easy job for small areas and there is still at least a couple months of growing season before it gets too cold for them to take. Good luck.
