First, I would go to Consumer Reports or similar to find the best tankless water heater. Then remember you will need yearly cleaning of this device. Finally, I would check to see the amount of additional delay you will get when you turn on the hot water spigot, if you currently have a tank hot water heater, you get hot water in XX seconds, if you go tankless then you need to ADD the warm up time for the tankless heater.
