We moved here 2 months ago and got Xfinity for both WiFi and Mobile service. None of our smart plugs will connect to Alexa or phone apps. In fact of the numerous WiFi products I've tried to connect to the WiFi only our thermostat worked, and our burglar alarm, but I stayed on the phone for 45 minutes with the alarm company to get that connected.
With that said- has anyone had any issues with Xfinity WiFi / Mobile and pairing smart devices? And if so what was the solution?
Thanks

Check the documentation of your smart devices, someone mentioned "re-configure" which is partially correct. You need to perform a "factory reset" on the device to remove all configuration info and treat the device as a new install.
I bring my SimpleSafe Alarm Kit, WiFi camera's and all Amazon Alexa compatible smart switches with me when I rent in TV. First thing I do is reset all devices, remove them from Alexa and install them as new using the WiFi in the rental then adding back to Alexa, never had any issues when using this process.
