We moved here 2 months ago and got Xfinity for both WiFi and Mobile service. None of our smart plugs will connect to Alexa or phone apps. In fact of the numerous WiFi products I've tried to connect to the WiFi only our thermostat worked, and our burglar alarm, but I stayed on the phone for 45 minutes with the alarm company to get that connected.
With that said- has anyone had any issues with Xfinity WiFi / Mobile and pairing smart devices? And if so what was the solution?

I have my thermostat, my shark vacuum, and my ring doorbell all attached to my Alexa. First my shark stopped working because it will not connect to the Wi-Fi no matter what I do. Then my ring doorbell stopped working. I took that apart and I have been able to get that working again. Now my thermostat has stopped connecting and it’s telling me that every time I try to reconnect it there’s a problem try again later. So I’m really getting a little disgusted with the whole thing.
Frankly, the thing that bothers me most is I can be watching A quiz show on television where of course I will be answering questions, and suddenly Alexa starts answering the questions. I tell her to stop listening to my conversations but she just sits there with a little light circling
