Interesting! I'm glad the poster used "typically". I hail from Minnesota, where most students, as I understand it, are given a shiny new iPad for use at school AND at home. Some few get the cheaper tablets, and in years past desktops were also handed out...all, of course, courtesy of the taxpayers of Minnesota.
I wonder--has the quality of the end result--students who can actually enter college without having to take a bunch of remedial courses first--actually improved?
