not the OP said he got $800-$1000 FROM COSTCO PURCHASES a year. Yes, obviously rebates can and do come from other purchases. I easily far exceed $1000/year on cashback, bonuses and rebates from CC's and other methods which has become a sort of "hobby" but not exclusively from Costco which was where what you commented on started.
