While we have to remain vigilant, we don't need to go off on a tangent.
We had a couple (not "couple" couple) in one of the focus group meetings that were very upset that each of them had relatives in Ocala and I can't remember the other place, that did not qualify because they were brother, sister, uncle, whatever. The rules are very clear on who qualifies for the in-area guest passes. Out of area there is no problem other than what I already pointed out (the cheats). Actual guests of residents normally don't come very often because of geography, if nothing more.
To give you a for instance: The closest one I have is my son in Jacksonville who has a job and a life of his own. The same with our daughter in Malabar. The other guests we have had have been from far away (TX, OK, VA) and have stayed 10 days, max. and some have only been here once in the 5+ years we've been here. I sure hope nobody considers that a problem.

Hi Dilly,
Thanks again for the explanation... I agree that we need to monitor this - or else a huge part of what makes TV great is lost in a flash. Our daughter (and s-i-l) are in Atlanta and have wayyyyyy too bus of a life to be here more than a few long weekends a year.
