Below a palm tree nursery says 13-3-13 (-4 magnesium) is a fine ratio, which is what Home Depot sells in the Lesco

You can use all kinds of fertilizers for your palm trees. People use Milorganite, Black Kow, epsom salts, etc. with varied results. If it works that is great. I was just going with the University of Florida recommendations that specify using long acting forms of ingredients, such as magnesium (in the form of Kieserite) and iron. (In the form of chelated iron) Lesco has a number of formulations and the prices differ. Longer acting ingredients cost more to produce. The reason to use long acting ingredients instead of water soluble formulations is because of the heavy rains we have here in Central Florida. What can happen is that you fertilize on June 1, it rains heavily for two days, and then all the magnesium and iron, etc. are washed away and the palm develops nutrient deficiencies. Use what you like though. If your palms look good keep doing what you do!
