Not sure where that erroneous information about Polar Bears is coming from, BUT.....Reuters reports that Polar Bears will begin to disappear in about 2050 where the sea ice is melting most rapidly. Slate.com says that a study predicts polar Bear EXTINCTION by 2100 if greenhouse gas emissions remain at the current trajectory.
