Where do you look to see the stats on employment-by-classification in the The Villages metro marketing area?

Driving north on Powell Rd. for the first time in weeks, I was shocked to see how much new home construction has taken place in the past few months. Ditto up around 466 as well.
So, the explanation goes, homes are needed for all the people who work here. Really? That many? Doing what? Many local businesses are still reporting staffing shortages. I mean, what are the top -tier occupations here that pay enough for people to afford homes in this economy??
