Yesteryear America would have immediately responded with force. Now, we seem to wonder how America can avoid any involvement.
Like someone said in earlier posts, what was done in the past does not mean we need to take the blame or responsibility for it. Even so, if our folks did not come from Europe, we wouldn't be here enjoying this rich country and our prosperity. I am not ashamed for something someone else perpetrated. I am not my brother's keeper.

Cool. I had a conversation with a family member and 1820 of my very best friends on twitter about how stupid we all thought conservatives are. Just a personal opinion. We wondered how gullible this country is and how weak it has become when we related America today to how it was in the 1960's, when people came together of all colors, creeds, nationalities, cultures, sexual preferences, to embrace the concept of "make love, not war" and world peace where everyone voluntarily contributed what they could afford, to help out our brothers and sisters who couldn't afford. We absolutely considered ourselves our brothers' keeper. Collectively.
Funny how them thar ign't trailer trash Qanon conservatives have ruined it for everyone.
