I am not fond of the supersized ships at all. I don't like the hall in front of the elevators jam-packed with people trying to get onto the next one, I'm not fond of having to walk the length of almost three football fields just to get to dinner. Not a fan of seeing 300 lounge chairs surrounding the pool, each of them with a towel on them but only 10 people actually in the pool or at the bar, to remind me of just how many people are inconsiderate and insist on "reserving" chairs that they have no intention of using. Not fond of having to wait 3-people deep just for a seat at the bar. Definitely not happy with wanting to go dancing, the same moment that 600 other people decide they want to go dancing, in a disco that's only built to handle 300 dancers. I don't even bother with the casinos.

I like the smaller ships because there's more a sense of intimacy, less of a sense of a floating shopping mall during the x-mas rush. That also means less stress on the cook staff which results in better quality food.

It's also quicker on and off the ship when it's smaller, so you have more time to spend wherever it is your ship is sailing.
