Default Yes my post was both mis-understood as well as mis-interpreted.

I was commenting on the Israeli approach to being tread upon or threatened.
Once upon a time there was no ambiguity in what Israel would do if tread upon or threatened. Like clock work they would retaliate with destruction of the objective....not just a warning shot.
In the latter years they have turned political like too much of the rest of the world. As a result, they get tread upon and now the expectation is....not much as a result.

I am hawkish about the USA and it's holdings and people being tread upon. I believe in the Teddy Roosevelt school of diplomacy...walk softly and carry a big stick and use it unsparingly when deserved.

I do not believe, nor did my post intend any US participation. I do however believe Israel has let far too much time go by without doing what they used to do best......use the big stick.

All the nice-nice politics and the permissive, pacifist approach only begets a bolder enemy.....especially among those who are avowed to kill as many Americans as possible.

On a separate note, the facilities may be well entrenched, but as far away from anything as they are....a good old scorching of the earth attack would make the place un appraochable for a long time. But that would not be very diplomatic. It would be playing by the adversaries rules however!
