I was under the impression that the strategy....never really defined just called "strategy"....announced in March is under review and the request for more troops is on hold until the WHO makes a decision on a new strategy !
Appreciate your help on the Iraq holding back the troops thing !

Bucco...It was discussed on The News Hour so that is where I got it. They also talked about the Army needing 6 months for training and the Marines 3 months. We have been in Iraq and Afghanistan for a long time now .... my nephew is gearing up for his 5th tour, Marines and the other will be sent for his 1st tour this summer, Army Reserves.
Today on The Week they discussed military equipment....the bad shape that it is in. But I will look for a link.
