Sanctions? Sanctions are the political explanation for having taken action. When an unacceptable action by another is taken, politicians can sit around the table and feel they have done something by invoking sanctions. To which guys like Almadina Nutjob and Kim Jong Ill just look at us and laugh and continue doing what they were intending to do without missing a stride or heart beat.

Let me see, if he is supplying the opposition in Iraq and Iran with conventional weapons, does anybody think he would hesitate to supply anybody who wants to kill Americans with even just nuclear waste to make dirty bombs? Of course he will.
Sanctions? Totally and completely useless against some one who could care less about them and their impact.
