That "amazing memory" comes with a splash of autism. To answer your question, loud noises (and lawn mowers and leaf blowers ) are very disruptive and disturbing. I'm grateful for the quietude of The Villages - and it IS quiet - most of the time!

Yes, glad you are happy here. I believe that LOUD noises are somewhat disruptive to everyone - some more than others. There are book clubs, movie clubs, and poetry clubs here.
