Rolling stop is not the problem, it happened to me this week. Actually if they rolled through the stop sign it would have been safer because I watch the tires and if they are turning at all on a car to my right or left coming through an intersection I'm much more cautious and pay attention to what they are going to do. When they are at a full stop I am a little more relaxed they are yielding to me.
Earlier this week I was proceeding in the direction of no stop sign and the car stopped perfectly as should have happened but he must have ASSUMED I had a stop sign and knowing they were at the intersection first, pulled into the intersection right in front of me. I locked up the brakes and ended up stopping in time to not hit him. Of course when he realized he was wrong he stopped right in the middle of the intersection........
Either make it a 4 way stop or as a minimum add a sign below the stop sign to indicate cross traffic does not stop, or that it's only a 2 way stop.
