I think it was the summer of 1971, I was a young lad out for an evening bike ride and decided to ride through downtown Northampton, MA. In town the is a place call Pulaski Park, where there was a free outdoor concert happening so I stopped to listen. I remember thinking, whoever there guys are, they are really good. Turns out it was Aerosmith, playing any gig they could get before they put out any albums and made it big time. One of the best shows I ever saw and certainly the cheapest.
