Unless something has changed in the last year, you'll find that the 1st "half" of the dash gauge will give you about 60% of your total range, the last 1/2 will give you 40%. Also, when the cart dies from a dead battery, you can probably re-start it after a few minutes and get another mile or 2 (don't ask how I know this).
Do NOT depend on the Star App for accurate battery charge information. The dashboard gauge is more accurate.
