The battery will start to lose performance after the 5-8 year warranty expires. You could get stuck with a very hefty disposal cost in addition to a new battery. I love the electric carts except there is that unknown hanging out there. Buyer beware.

My plan when my lithium battery dies, is to find a Tesla, break open the trunk and throw in my battery. All that lithium? Sooner or later, the whole thing will explode. At least according to what I read on this forum. End of story.
