Those green signs are suggestions or examples. You must/MUST always yield to the vehicle moving straight before turning into that vehicle's path. If you don't believe me, then when you cause an accident, let me know what the judge says. There is NO sign that says that the outside lane must turn right at the first available exit. There is no sign that says that the inside lane must turn right at the second or third exit.
Of course, the first post (OP) is not the norm for a round about and should be handled differently.
