I am a former Village Resident and moved to Georgia 5 years ago. I was a widow and remmaried and my husbands job was in Georgia that was the reason for my move. I am planning to come down to Florida for a few days in January to visit some friends and go to Disney world with my Niece and Nephew and their little boy. Could someone please give me the directions to go to DW using Route 50. I know how to via the Turnpike or down 27 to 192 but someone told me you can go in the back way via rt 50 and byass all the traffic on 192. I would appreciate any help on this matter. I spent 8 wonderfull years in the Villages and loved every minute of it. I really love living in Georgia 1hr from Macon,2hrs from Savannah and about 4hrs form the Georgia Mountains and about 2 and a half hours from the Ocean. and only 6hours to the Villages so I feel I have the best of both worlds.I love to keep up with the news in the Villages and cannot wait to see how
it had grown in the last 5 years.
