I have been a big fan of Amy Grant, since she was a contemporary Christian artist. I remember when she was married to her first husband, Gary - before Vince Gill came along. I remember seeing her in person perform at Wolff Trapp in Virginia.

I remember buying my first Amy Grant album, Age To Age, used at a record store in Frederick Co., Maryland. Later, I bought her albums Unguarded and Straight Ahead brand new when they were released.

My favorite song, back then, was "Find A Way" with Michael W. Smith, another favorite from back then.

My favorite song, overall, is when she sings is "Tender Tennessee Christmas." That is the best version of the song I have ever heard. I used to have her first Christmas album, the one where she is wearing the blue/green reindeer sweater standing in the snow on a farm on the cover. It was lost somewhere along the way of life. She has the second, more contemporary one, where she is in the red dress, but I don't care for it as much.

Thanks for the memory lane trip.
