Your friends just need to get you a guest pass. We just did that for a friend whose home is rented sept - April. No issue at all. Done all the time for landlords whose passes were transferred to renters. However, you will be a guest and will pay guest green fees to play golf. And need to keep your guest pass with your picture ID with you.
