As far as golf cart speeds go, I have one that goes 31 downhill. Yes, it was tuned by Plowman. No, I do not keep or use it in The Villages, it is at the lake in Tennessee. I no longer drive it at its maximum capabilities.

For the most part, we have all grabbed the prize. We have all made it to retirement. I am enjoying mine heartily! The surest and quickest way for that to come to a crashing halt is a traffic accident. I have come to realize (although it took many decades) that speed is unimportant. If it takes me an extra hour to get back "up north" then so what, I arrive alive and healthy as opposed to the delay an accident muchless an injury would cause.

Same philosophy for when we go golf carting around. So I get to Dunkin' Donuts 50 seconds later than I could have. I miss out on a parking space? So what - I just park further out. I'm not on the clock, I'm not late for anything, I won't miss out on anything by taking my time - except maybe I miss out on an emergency room visit.

YMMV
