Your photo is a bit out of focus, but it looks
like the corners in your granite countertop are the problem.
Not the stove.
I suppose a granite backsplash has been installed behind a stove before, but I’ve not seen it done. If the granite had stopped on each side of the stove. Then the stove could have been slid back, right up to the tiled wall, so you see less of the stove side.
