Just another idea, we drove a U-haul truck purchashed a GPS from Wal Mart for $108 and they are great. We now use it on our golf cart not just for directions, but it has an odometer and compasss which comes in very handy.
We are moved in and just starting to be able to enjoy some of the goodies in TV. By the way I had a great aunt that lived in Santa Barbara which we visited several times. Beautiful place.

Thank you Steve! Never thought of a GPS. Brilliant suggestion! The investment might be worth it because we will be learning how to get to places when we get to TV. I still have to figure how much "stuff" I'll be hauling and if a UHaul or a private company will be best. We do have a car and I'm wondering if dragging it on/behind a Uhaul in the middle of winter OR a private company would be best or which would be most economical. Wondering if I should consider using the relocation people at TV to help with that decision. We are so remote, that a Pod or Door to Door won't even come up here. Getting ready for garage sale at this time.
