From my home to Buena Vista up north is over a mile on shared roads. There are always many walkers and carts. When I’m driving I do my best to give every one of them a wide berth. I drive the speed limit when they’re present and move toward the center of the road when I can. When there is oncoming traffic, I slow down until I can move toward the center. BUT to allow myself the freedom to do this, I have to leave early if I have an appointment. This shouldn’t be a hard concept in a 55+ community.
