I would recommend talking with local companies to get a quote as well. I believe they are based out of state and do dinner presentations to try sell their products. I can't speak for the AC thing they are trying to sell. However, the insulation blanket they are selling doesn't meet FL building code. You can't lay down a radiant barrier style insulation in the attic. It must be attached to the underside of the roof in 1 of 3 approved methods.
