Screens can be added to the lanai, however, be sure to get ARC approval before you do this. You may just need to call them, in general you may not need approval, but there are now 13 or 14 CDDs and they have slightly different deed restrictions. We just enclosed our lanai with sliders and windows which absolutely required ARC approval. I cannot provide costs, as ours was screened when the house was built. I would recommend A+ screening, as they did a great job on our birdcage.
