Did it for years when traveling in the motor home. We'd get to our campsite. No restaurants for miles. Don't want to have to start preparing a meal. It’s just the way one is raised, if it doesn’t go in a wok, skillet Or air fryer. It doesn’t go on our table. All beef is rare, chicken seared in a hot wok, and fish air fried. Raised in a southern household, microwave not allowed in our family.
My mom still won’t have one in her house. Leftovers goes back in a cast iron to make hash. But we all have bacon grease on our stove.
