The very big flaw with those stats when viewed by race is that Hispanics are considered white in categorizing violent crime by race. That is why those figures add up to 98% of violent crime being committed by whites or blacks. The stats viewed by ethnicity gives better insight into Hispanic violent crime rates and hence, white violent crime rates. Not the answer you were hoping for? Do a little thinking.
