Emergency Disconnects

Generators must be marked with one of the following:
EMERGENCY DISCONNECT, SERVICE DISCONNECT
EMERGENCY DISCONNECT, METER DISCONNECT, NOT SERVICE EQUIPMENT
EMERGENCY DISCONNECT, NOT SERVICE EQUIPMENT

So does this adoption from the 2020 code mean that a thief wanting to hit a house with remote internet monitoring, can just disconnect the power from the outside and then break in with a disabled security system?

thanks!
Hi there, very interesting question and concept. I did forward this on to my head management to see what their suggestions or thoughts are to best answer this concern. I will definitely post once I have the information! - Casandra
