When I saw that ad, the first thing I did was look for a reference to FDIC (Fed and State chartered banks) or NCUA (Credit Unions). The lack of those is not, necessarily "fatal" but it means that they are some other kind of financial institution without any deposit insurance. There are legitimate entities but a LOT MORE research needs to be done. Remember the adage - "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is"...
