I will swing wide when I see pedestrians, however, I almost hit a walker just last week who insisted on walking on the MMP around a curve and hillside. I absolutely could not swerve to the left to avoid the man in the roadway because there was no line of sight for oncoming carts who might be going down that hill towards Colony. It seems you think putting yourself in jeopardy is a better idea than just moving to the grass in dangerous spots where carts would not be able to see you beforehand. I was inches away from hitting that man, and will not put myself in jeopardy by moving into an opposing lane when there is no line of sight of what is coming toward me because an idiot insists on his “right” to stay in the roadway. You walkers who insist on staying in the roadway with carts who have to navigate blind curves and hills only need to be hit one time to change your life forever.
