AS EXPECTED. They started melting 20,000 years ago and will continue to melt for another 30-40,000 years. Likewise, PARTS of the polar ice caps are melting, other parts are GROWING, and overall, even though they have been growing for the last 10 years, they have been melting for 20,000 years as well and will continue to melt. So, yes, in that sense Al gore was correct about the trend, I was correct about the trend, and even you are correct about the trend---that's a no-brainer. HOWEVER, that trend
