January 24 is not my birthday. Kind of sometimes do not want to remember events connected to my actual birthday of February 24 so that kind of made it easier on me to use Talk of the Villages even if I love seeing 224s in some places.

I do recall some of my fellow Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners (LAMP) student lawyers and their friends kind of throwing me a birthday party around February 24, 1989. I had mentioned to many people at the U of MN Law School my interest in helping survivors/victims of crimes based on the 2-24-1976 murder of my then Earl Wooster HS Remedial English teacher's daughter Michelle Mitchell near the University of Nevada, Reno campus. There were a few cases describing the facts in law books at the U of MN Law Library. I did point them out.

These people at LAMP helped me get through law school. And the national law librarian convention was in Reno, Nevada in 1989 and I had been working to catalog all the computer files on WESTLAW for a national project so it looked like I would be going there soon after law school. I graduated in May of 1989 from the U of MN Law School.

Paula Zahn did a segment on Reno and that 2-24-1976 murder and its investigation. This was a few years back. Good TV show. And not for NOTHING. Paula Zahn's birthday is 2-24. Paula Zahn - Wikipedia
