I recall writing anyone and everyone back in 1994 or so to help with the niche I saw in libraries of all kinds for practical information and many people's response to my efforts also described.
I got a letter from one of the SF Bay Area news anchors describing to me how they pick stories and the like. She did say she would run things by the news director whose responsibility covered these areas.
She disappeared off the news at some point. Not sure when. Re-appeared later. Maybe decades after having had to leave her job because of stalkers. One of whom she thought was dangerous.
NOTHING but seemed kind of ironic to me.
I was excited by the letter I got from her. And not for NOTHING. Think I was getting maybe one in twenty responses to letters I sent out in the early 1990s.
