This hasn't been my experience. Any time I had an issue they fixed it immediately.
I implore the OP to speak to the service manager or call Yamaha directly about this issue.
Yamaha would be interested if this really is an issue on 2023 models.
My 2023 Yamaha has not had this belt issue which is a year old and has 2,500 miles on it.
