I was a patient at Ocala Eye for 10 years. I started with Dr. Vish and was switched to an optometrist because Dr. Vish does not do contact lenses. Had cataract surgery with the cornea specialist. I have a condition requiring my eyes be checked every 6 months to a year, and when I wanted to go back to Dr. Vish I was told he only does surgeries and I had to use an optometrist, even though I no longer wear contacts. Rheumatologist prefers ophthalmologist. So beware, Ocala Eye seems to be cheapening their services by using optometrists more.
