The deputy told me yes that sign was erected by the villages and they were working with the Wildwood police to get the villages to remove that sign. I have no doubt when the sign was put up the law prohibited golf carts from crossing roads at intersections. However that law was changed in 2019.  |
The Villages won't be taking down a sign that seems to have successfully scared people for years from leaving to enter non-Villages commercial establishments and spend money there.
