I had several close calls over a few months and decided it wasn’t worth the risk as shown by bikers being hit and seriously injured. I was out there trying to have a healthy lifestyle and to be hit and disabled for life didn’t seem like a good trade off.
So now I am on my Peloton in my house where I am warm or cool depending on the season. Patience is the key for cart drivers, but do bikers and walkers really want to depend on cart drivers who maybe can’t see really well and have slow reactions? I just wouldn’t bet my life on it.

You're right, it can be sketchy on the mm on a bike, once in a while. It doesn't seem too bad in our area. I run the mm more than I bike. I'd rather ride in the dirt at Santos, much safer.
But as I said in a previous post, the vast majority of cart drivers I see are courteous.
We've been avid Peloton riders for about 3 years. We're snowbirds, so we have one here and in Indiana. lol. Great way to workout!
